The Honda CR-X, originally launched as the Honda Ballade Sports CR-X Japan, a front-wheel drive sport compact car manufactured by Honda. The first generation CR-X was sold in some regions outside Japan as the Honda Civic CR-X.

The US-spec, the CR-X traded holding sport hatchback, having room for only two passengers. The EU-spec, but received a more powerful ZC 130 hp (97 kW) engine and a 2 +2 meeting. Redesigned in 1987 and produced until 1991, the CR-X was popular for performance, manageability, and good fuel economy.
