The 2012 Focus looks fantastic, especially in hatchback form. The engineers and designers felt able to make the sporty Focus (by reducing the seats and the total height), because of the upcoming C-Max is a high-roofed, five-or seven-seat derivative from this platform, which corresponds to the family car mission. Compared to the current U.S. Focus, the new car is lower than 0.5 inch (58.1 cm in height), and 3.0 cm long (178.0 cm location), and has a 1.3 inch longer wheelbase (104.2 cm). The 2012 model dimensions are close to the current Euro car, except for the wider track and lower position.

The new body is white, 55 percent use high-strength steel structure, the largest U.S. Ford. Up to 25 percent more torsional rigidity, that the current Focus.
