The 2011 Honda Pilot motivated by a 3.5-liter V6 generates 250 horsepower, and 253 to pounds-feet of torque. A five-speed automatic is the only available transmission. Front-wheel drive is standard, but all the experimental models are available in a four-wheel-drive system, which automatically allocate power to the rear wheels - up to 70 percent - when the first slip occurs. This system is also a driver-selectable "lock" feature that routes the maximum torque to the rear wheels at speeds below 19 mph.
